Join us this July for an afternoon wellness retreat at the beautifully calming space at Yoga on the Green, Woodford, and allow yourself time to revitalise and restore the body and mind. It's not always easy for us to get away for a whole week or weekend break, but any amount of time that we can carve out for ourselves is essential, and can often feel like a lifeline in the chaos that modern life often brings.
We believe in a holistic approach here at TWP and this retreat brings together all of the aspects of wellbeing that we cherish the most. Combining movement, breathwork, nourishing food, healing massage, creativity, and (most importantly) connection with others. All pieces of the wellness pie come together in this half day retreat.  
                                                                         
Retreat Schedule
2pm: Arrive & Settle
2-3.15pm: Vinyasa Flow Yoga Practice & Meditation with Rachel
3.15-5.15pm: Afternoon Tea, Facial Massage Slot with Michelle, and Creative Play (including make-your-own Epsom bath salts with Neals Yard Remedies essential oils)
5.15-6.30pm: Restorative Yoga with Rachel & Group Reiki Healing from Michelle
6.30pm: Finish Up & Receive Gift Bag (including Neals Yard Samples, and Small Handmade Everlasting Bouquet from Nim & Maple)
Arriving at Yoga on the Green, the beautiful studio space in Woodford, we'll begin by settling on our mats and relaxing into the group atmosphere. Rachel will then lead you through a strong but slow Vinyasa Yoga practice, with her usual uplifting and eclectic tunes! We'll finish the practice with some cleansing breathwork and a grounding group meditation.
 
During the yoga break, we'll enjoy a homemade afternoon tea, including a variety of cakes; the classic British staples, lemon drizzle, banana bread, and of course a Victoria sponge! We'll also offer scones with clotted cream and jams, a fruit and nut platter, as well as teas and coffees. After enjoying these refreshments, you'll relax with a short bespoke facial massage with Michelle, and have the opportunity to engage in some creative play! This will include creating your own bath salts with Neals Yard essential oil, that you can then
take home with you and enjoy.
We'll end the afternoon with a deeply restful Restorative yoga practice, in which we'll support the body in various postures using props, to encourage a shift of the nervous system and invite the body to naturally heal and recover. During this practice, Michelle will be sending us all healing vibes with group Reiki.
