Blueberry Smoothie Bowl

Summer in a bowl. This bright and refreshing blueberry smoothie bowl is a real crowd pleaser, with the taste and consistency of ice cream but all of the goodness of a traditional smoothie. Go wild with the toppings, adding anything from nut butter to chocolate, homemade granola or pile on more fruit.

 

Serves 2 | Equipment: high-powered blender

1 ½ Frozen Bananas 

1 Cup Frozen Blueberries

1 Scoop Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder (we use Sun Warrior)

2/3 Cup Nut Mylk (Our Macadamia Nut Mylk is perfect for this!)

 

Method 

  1. Put all of the ingredients into the blender. Try to make sure that the bananas are broken up into halves or less, rather than a whole banana.
  2. Whizz all ingredients, slowly increasing speed on the blender so as not to put too much strain on the blades. Use the truncheon (if you have one) to push the ingredients down in the blender to help it mix.
  3. Portion out into 2 bowls, or one sharing bowl, and add topping of choice!
  4. Enjoy!
